How to get here

The closest airport to Montino is Milan's Malpensa Airport (MXP) - less than a 1.5-hour drive. Milan Bergamo (BGY) is also not far, ~2hrs drive from us. 

There are plenty of car rental companies in both airports.

We offer free transportation from the town of Verbania or Intra which are 25 minutes drive from Montino. Contact us before your arrival date to coordinate.

Using Public transportation:

There is a bus (Linea 4) that arrives at the gate of Montino and leaves 5-6 times a day from near Dali Restaurant in Intra.

To get to Intra from Malpensa:
Option 1 - Use the Alibus shuttle service

Option 2 - Take the MXP line to Milano Centrale and change to the train to Verbania.

 

To get to Intra from Milano:

Use the train from Milano Centrale to Verbania Pallanza

Another alternative is to take the train to Laveno-Mombello and take the nearby ferry to Intra. The ferry timetable can be found here.
